Dearly Beloved in Christ

God has blessed us to enter into a new month. I thank God for all the blessings that He has showered upon our parish. We are proud of our Sunday School students who participated in the North Eastern Regional competitions and gained the overall championship. I appreciate all the teachers who worked hard for this success as well as all the parents who encouraged their children.

The bible says, fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fear of the Lord does not mean one is scared of Him and hiding from Him, but to respect Him and to be fully aware of the fact that His presence is everywhere. It is a blessing to fear God and to look to him for wisdom. We are called not  simply to know the will of God, but let " wisdom enter our heart so that we walk in the ways of good men and keep in the path of righteous.(Prov.2:10,11) The dictionary meaning of wisdom is  the quality of being wise, the ability to make sensible judgments and decisions etc. But the biblical meaning of wisdom is, having a skill in living and following God's design as well as avoiding pit falls. Heavenly wisdom teaches us the skills for Godly living and it also serves as a guide for earthly living.

May God help us to grow more and more in this heavenly wisdom.

May God bless each of us with His words.

Your in Christ’s love,

Babu Achen
